ROOH Palo Alto: Private Events on University Avenue
ROOH is a progressive Indian restaurant at 473 University Avenue in Palo Alto, and it hosts private events for groups of up to 150. With a colorful dining room, a strong cocktail program and a central Silicon Valley location, it's a go-to for client dinners, team celebrations and milestone events.
Here's what to know about the space, food and booking options.
Why ROOH Works for Group Events
ROOH's dining room is full of personality. Red chandeliers, a large floral mural, green velvet chairs, cane-paneled booths and an arched back bar make the space feel lively and polished at the same time.
The location helps too. University Avenue is easy to reach from Menlo Park, Mountain View and Stanford, which makes it convenient for both local teams and visiting guests.
Food and Drinks
ROOH reimagines regional Indian cuisine with seasonal California ingredients and modern techniques. For private events, you can choose tasting menus, plated dinners or family-style meals built around shareable small plates, entrées and desserts.
The bar is a highlight, with cocktails inspired by Indian botanicals, premium wines and spirits. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available, and outside food and beverage aren't allowed.

ROOH hosts events of up to 150 guests, with four ways to book:
